Run your Apple Shortcuts
from ChatGPT

A tiny helper runs the macOS shortcuts tool on your Mac and answers your ChatGPT requests. Your shortcuts stay on your machine — only the specific results you ask for are relayed.

Requires Node.js. The agent runs in your normal login session, where your Shortcuts live. The first time a given shortcut runs, macOS may ask to allow it — click Allow once (per-shortcut, not a blanket grant).

Generate a one-time code, then run the pair command from Step 1 on your Mac.

Add ShortcutsBridge as a custom connector in ChatGPT (one time).

1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Plugins (formerly Connectors).
2. Under Security & login, enable Developer mode.
3. Choose Create a custom plugin (custom connector).
4. Paste this MCP Server URL:

5. Set Authentication to OAuth.
6. ChatGPT sends you here to Sign in and click Allow — then you're connected.

Your Mac must be awake with the agent running for requests to work. ChatGPT always confirms before running any shortcut — and it can only run shortcuts you already built.
