Common issues

"Your Mac agent is offline." Start it on your Mac with shortcuts-agent run and make sure the Mac is awake (tip: caffeinate -s while plugged in).
macOS blocked a shortcut from running. The first time a given shortcut runs, macOS may ask you to allow it (or to allow an action inside it). Approve it once and it will run from then on — this is a per-shortcut prompt, not a blanket grant.
Shortcuts from iPhone missing. Confirm iCloud Sync for Shortcuts is enabled on both the iPhone and the Mac (open the Shortcuts app → Settings → turn on iCloud Sync).
Connector shows unauthorized. Remove and re-add the connector in your assistant to refresh the OAuth grant.
"Shortcut not found." ChatGPT can only run shortcuts that already exist on your Mac. Check the exact name in the Shortcuts app (names are case-sensitive), or ask ChatGPT to list your shortcuts first.

Stop and unpair the Mac agent: quit the process and delete ~/.shortcuts-agent.json.
Remove the connector in your assistant's settings.
